Book today with METALCON’s trusted and exclusive housing company, Globetrotter Travel, to secure a guaranteed (and discounted) reservation. Stay like a “King” at METALCON’s headquarter hotel, The Westgate Resort and Casino, once known as Elvis Presley’s Vegas “home” and still touts the Elvis Presley Suite. It is located adjacent to the Convention Center eliminating the need to shuttle back and forth.
It has been 30 years since key industry partners took a leap of faith when they gathered in Washington, DC, to embark on an event they felt was needed to serve a niche industry. Today, METALCON has grown into being the only global event devoted exclusively to the use of metal in design and construction. Make your plans early to attend METALCON 2020 to celebrate this impressive milestone.
Celebrating Women in the Industry
Last week marked Women in Construction Week sponsored by the National Association of Women in Construction. METALCON 2020 is excited to announce featured programming dedicated to women in the industry at this year's show. Join us for Connect! The Women’s Construction Network at METALCON on Tuesday, October 20th (the day before METALCON officially opens) at 2:00 p.m. in the Las Vegas Convention Center for an afternoon of learning, conversation and networking. Here, for the first time, leaders from all of the construction industry women’s associations will come together to help each other create change, drive diversity, ensure equality and influence the industry.
METALCON looks to its media partners to help spread its message to architects, engineers, contractors, building owners, facility managers and professionals involved in the design-build process domestically and globally. With this alliance, METALCON is recognized as the place for metal construction professionals to meet globally. Check out METALCON’s 20+ publication partners and contact us today to enter into an alliance.
We can’t think of a better place than Vegas to celebrate the show’s 30th anniversary! If you are a frequent visitor, you know the destination is always reinventing itself and creating new experiences for visitors. According to VisitLasVegas.com, some of the "new and noteworthy” happenings include: Cirque du Soleil’s first live action thriller production, a revamped SAHARA Las Vegas with new restaurants and entertainment options, Trustworthy Brewing Co. & BBQ featuring artisanal batch beers, ICEBAR at The LINQ Promenade, and new restaurants including one by celebrity Chef David Chang and “The Mayfair,” a London inspired supper club.
