AEC DAILY REVS UP ARCHITECT’S EXPERIENCE

AEC Daily, a leading provider of continuing education for architects, engineers, and other design and construction professionals, has partnered with METALCON for its ‘show within a show,’ The Architect’s Experience. Coming off of last year’s success, this year will prove to be even more robust with AECDaily spearheading the education program. Architects and design professionals will not only have the opportunity to learn about the uses of metal in design at METALCON, earn continuing education credits, but also visit with the leading manufacturers of metal products. Call for presentations is underway. If you are interested in presenting at an educational session, please submit your presentation no later than June 30.

GET TO KNOW INDY — MONUMENTS & MEMORIALS

While INDY may be best known for its fast cars and speedway, the city devotes more acreage than any other US city to honoring our nation’s fallen, and is second only to Washington, DC, in the number of war memorials. Take in the rich history while you explore the city when in town for METALCON, many of which are in walking distance from the downtown and convention center areas. Representing the physical and spiritual heart of Indianapolis, the Soldiers and Sailors Monument is located at Governor’s Circle and features “Shining a Light,” a nightly 5-minute lights and musical presentation which pays tribute to the stories of the iconic monument. For a list of the other monuments and memorials, click on the “learn more” link.

Join us October 12 - 14 and we guarantee you will #LOVEINDY.
